Choosing The Perfect Bath Shape

Choosing The Perfect Bath Shape

Choosing the right bath style is one of the first decisions to make on your journey to boundless bathing. There are a number of factors to consider ranging from fitting, material and style. Today we will discuss fitting.

This is a critical decision when choosing your new bath and depends on a number of factors from room size to door positioning. There are three styles available which are “back to wall”, “single ended and “double-ended”

Back-to-wall baths are perfect when space is at an economy or you have a feature wall you would like to draw attention to. As the name suggests they sit flush against the wall and are accessible from three sides.

Single-ended are more of what may be considered a classic free-standing bath, they usually have taps at one end making that end inaccessible and then will have an open end opposite allowing you to slip in and out. These are perfect for more of a classical style of bathroom, where space allows.

Double-ended are a contemporary style of free-standing bath, more often the taps will sit in the middle of the bath and it will be symmetrical on both ends. This allows access from both sides and can often mean they are a much more practical bath for couples.
